Help center / Daily work / Email: scheduled sending, conversations and quick actions
This guide complements Email with the features that save the most time.
After pressing Send a notice appears with Undo for a few seconds: if you press it in time, the email is not sent and goes back to your drafts. Choose the time in the email settings, under Undo send (10 or 30 seconds, or no delay).
In the editor, Schedule… lets you choose a date and time. The email goes out by itself at that time. Under Scheduled you see all the pending ones; if you cancel one, it goes back to your drafts.
When sending you can ask to be alerted if nobody replies before a date (Wait for reply). In the email settings, Emails awaiting a reply lists the pending ones. Those marked No reply are highlighted.
Messages in the same thread are grouped under Conversation, with Messages in this conversation to go through them. The Filters bar in the inbox refines the search; Clear filters resets it.
When you open a message you have shortcuts:
If you have set up the AI assistant (Using the assistant), each email offers Summarize, Suggest reply and Extract tasks. The suggested reply is left as a draft for you to review before sending: nothing is sent automatically.
Privacy. To do this, the content of the email is sent to the AI provider you have configured. The suggest-actions option also sends the names of your clients. Use it only with emails you can share with that provider.
In the email settings you can save Reply templates, set up the signature that is inserted in replies and forwards and create Automatic categorization rules (and advanced rules) to sort what arrives.
