Maintenance, "view as" and AI limits

These tools are in the backoffice and are used only by global administrators.

Maintenance mode

Closes the whole platform or a specific firm with a message. Users see a service-unavailable page (and the API responds 503), while global administrators can still get in. You can state until when it lasts. Use it for updates or incidents.

Announcements

Publish notices (informational, warning or critical) that appear in the app of all users or only of one firm, with optional start and end dates. Each person can close them. You can pause or delete them.

"View as"

For support: sign in as a user in read-only mode.

  1. State the reason (at least 5 characters): it is recorded.
  2. A single-use link is generated that expires after 2 minutes.
  3. The "view as" session lasts 30 minutes and shows a notice with an Sign out button.

You cannot view as an administrator.

Monthly AI limit per firm

Each firm has a number of AI queries per month, which renews on the 1st. From the backoffice you set the limit or leave it unlimited, and see consumption. Users see it in their assistant settings (see Settings, usage limit and safety modes).

Setting up a firm

Each firm has a list of steps that tick themselves off as they are done: create the first tax client, generate the deadlines, connect an email account, review client reminders, give a client portal access and mark a deadline as filed.

API and MCP tokens and activity

The backoffice shows API tokens and MCP activity (which tools are used and how many times). Call arguments are audited by their shape, never by their content.
