The Time clock module keeps the mandatory working-hours record (art. 34.9 of the Spanish Workers' Statute) in such a way that it cannot be tampered with once created.
From Time clock, the available buttons change depending on your last entry: clock in, start of break, end of break and clock out. You can only make the transition that makes sense (for example, you cannot "clock out" if you had not clocked "in" before).
The first time you use the module, fill in your employment details (national ID, social security number, job category, contract type, weekly hours) — they are what the regulations require to identify you in an inspection.
Before you can clock in, at minimum your full name and your DNI/NIE are needed: if they are missing, the panel takes you to My details. If you set your contracted weekly hours, the panel and My history show how many hours you have done this week against them (for example, "24 of 40"), counting the shift in progress.
An entry is never edited or deleted directly. If you made a mistake, a new row is created that corrects the previous one, leaving a complete trace of the correction — as the law requires.
If you are a time clock manager, you have a panel per employee with full history, a table with the hours worked, break hours, contracted hours, what has been done this week and the difference, export to CSV/PDF/JSON, and a button to verify the integrity of the whole chain of entries — it checks that no record has been altered directly in the database since it was created.
The time clock also covers each person's absences and holidays, shift schedule and time bank.
Some firms enable location recording when clocking in (you are always notified before clocking in if it is active) — an administrator decides this from Backoffice, per tenant.
