Keyboard shortcuts and global search

Global search

Press Ctrl+K on any screen to open the search — it searches notes, tasks and email at once, and takes you straight to the result you pick.

Available shortcuts

Press the ? button in the top bar to see the full list at any time. The most used:

• Ctrl+Alt+N — quick note.
• Ctrl+Alt+T — new task.
• Ctrl+Alt+B — search the history.
• Ctrl+Alt+I — new ticket (bug or suggestion).
• Ctrl+Alt+G — quick capture (desktop app only).
• Ctrl+K — global search.
• ? — show the list of shortcuts.
• Esc — close a pop-up window.

In email there are also single-key shortcuts: j and k to go to the next or previous message, # to delete the open one and u to mark it as unread.

Quick capture

If you use the desktop application, the Ctrl+Alt+G shortcut (or the camera icon in the side menu) opens a small window to jot something down without interrupting what you are doing in another application.
